BRAVE Arsenal Explained
New versions of iconic weapons are coming, with redesigned or brand-new perks and an exciting visual update. Most of the original versions of these weapons are no longer obtainable, but the 12 weapons are now available to all players as part of the free content update.
Keep in mind that only the Into the Light versions of these weapons have the updated pools, so currently owned versions won't be updated.
Half of the Arsenal was made available from April 9, 2024. More will unlock weekly through April 30.
How to Unlock BRAVE Arsenal Weapons
All BRAVE Arsenal weapons can drop randomly from Onslaught, the new horde mode PvE activity. But Arcite 99-40 in the Hall of Champions also has quests for each gun.
With the launch of Into the Light on April 9, quests for Succession, Falling Guillotine, The Recluse, Edge Transit, Hung Jury SR4, and Elsie's Rifle are available. The others will be added throughout the rest of April.
The Into the Light introductory questline called Feats of Bravery given to you by Shaxx requires you to do the Stranger Danger quest to get Elsie's Rifle first. After that, you can pick up the remaining quests from Arcite 99-40.
Each quest grants you a "Limited Edition" masterworked version of the weapon with a curated roll. These Limited Edition variants are also a very rare drop from Onslaught, and when they do drop, they may have two options in the perk columns.

Edge Transit has major potential heading into The Final Shape era when this weapon archetype is due for some buffs. As such, it will likely become the meta, so it's worth it to hunt for a god roll now.
PvP Best Roll
This grenade launcher won't be as functional in PvP, but here's the best roll to aim for:

PvE is where Hung Jury SR4 shines, even if scout rifles aren't considered meta currently. With the right roll, however, it can still be a powerhouse for boss DPS and ad clear, making it a versatile and worthwhile option for anybody good at landing precision hits consistently.
PvP Best Roll

Hung Jury SR4 is far less viable in PvP due to its more extended range, but if you absolutely must use it, here's the best you can do:

PvE Best Roll
PvE Best Roll |
---|
Arrowhead Brake, Tactical Mag, Outlaw, Rampage, Range of Handling Masterwork |
It's hard to beat the classic and very old-school Outlaw/Rampage combo, which was so good on the original Midnight Coup that Bungie essentially had to sunset the gun. A powerful alternate would be Firefly/Kinetic Tremors since Firefly explosions cause damage that counts towards Kinetic Tremors.
PvP Best Roll
PvP Best Roll |
---|
Hammer-Forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Moving Target, Opening Shot, Range Masterwork |
Midnight Coup isn't likely to dominate in PvP, but like most hand cannons, Moving Target/Opening Shot is the roll to aim for.
